The Thirty-Seventh Annual Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, convened in the Tabernacle, Great Salt Lake City, April 6-8, 1867, President Brigham Young presiding.

Saturday, April 6 Morning Session: President Brigham Young set a "mark" for the Elders to preach to — the unity of the Saints — and delivered his [[1867-04-young-the-elders-to-labor-for-the-unity-of-the-saints]] discourse (filed separately). President Heber C. Kimball spoke on the necessity of the Spirit of God, self-sufficiency, and observing the Word of Wisdom (summary only; never printed in full in JD). President Young then delivered [[1867-04-young-how-the-sisters-can-help-to-build-up-the-kingdom]] (filed separately), urging the sisters to economize on tea, coffee, and hired help and devote the savings to the Perpetual Emigrating Fund and missionary support.

Saturday, April 6 Afternoon Session: Elder John Taylor offered the opening prayer, and President Daniel H. Wells delivered a discourse, "The Kingdom of God Will Endure Forever" — reported only in The Deseret News (May 1, 1867, pp. 138-139) per the Weebly bibliography, not in JD, and not yet transcribed as a separate talk in this vault. Elder John Taylor then delivered an extensive discourse, [[1867-04-taylor-political-and-social-economy]] (filed separately), on the comprehensive scope of the Saints' religion in both temporal and spiritual affairs.

Benson delivered [[1867-04-benson-word-of-wisdomhappiness-to-be-obtained]], Elder George Q. Cannon delivered [[1867-04-cannon-necessity-of-union-and-obedience-to]], and President Brigham Young delivered [[1867-04-young-every-saint-on-a-mission]] (all filed separately).

Monday, April 8 Morning Session: President Heber C. Kimball spoke on temperate living and urged pushing forward the building of the Temple (summary only; never printed in full in JD). Monday, April 8 Afternoon Session: Elder Charles C. Rich delivered [[1867-04-rich-labor-to-build-up-the-kingdom]] (filed separately). The General Authorities of the Church were sustained by vote of the Conference. President Daniel H. Wells then delivered [[1867-04-wells-schools-and-school-teacherstithing-etc]], and President Brigham Young delivered the closing address, [[1867-04-young-educationemployment-of-females]] (both filed separately), bringing the conference to a close.
