AFTERNOON SESSION.

Conference was resumed at 2 p. m.

President Joseph F. Smith called the meeting to order.

The choir and congregation sang the hymn :

Our God, we raise to Thee Thanks for Thy blessings free

We here enjoy; In this far western land, A true and chosen band, Led hither by Thy hand,

We sing for joy.

Prayer was offered by Patriarch David McKay.

The choir and congregation sang the hymn :

O ye mountains high, where the clear blue sky Arches over the vales of the free, Where the pure breezes blow and the clear streamlets flow, How I've longed to your bosom to flee.
