Remarks

John Morgan

1889 April General Conference·Morning Session·1889-04-07

I have been requested to occupy a few moments in which to bear my testimony to what has been said. I do this with pleasure, and feel confident that the principles we have heard here today have fallen upon the ears of the Saints as the truth. I rejoice to see that the cause of the Kingdom of God is onward and upward. The experiences the Saints are passing through will be invaluable to them in the future.

I bear my testimony that this work will continue to grow until it will fill the whole earth, and that the time will come when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is the Christ, and that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. Notwithstanding the opposition arrayed against this work, it will triumph over all things, which may God grant in the name of Jesus, amen.
