James A. Cullimore · 1970 October General Conference · 1970-10-02
OCR ingestion with auto-cleaning and paragraph reflowing. Archive snapshot pending.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Proofread against the IA scan/OCR witness (conferencereport1970sa); de-interleaved a two-column OCR garble in the opening sentence and removed bled-in running-head artifacts.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: collated against the conferencereport1970sa djvu OCR witness. Talk boundaries confirmed correct (starts with Cullimore's own opening, ends 'Amen.', followed cleanly by Elder Loren C. Dunn's talk with no bleed). De-interleaved the opening sentence, which in the scan is a genuine two-column page layout where OCR wove the two columns line-by-line into one garbled line ('How de- esting experience in his work. He had lightful it is...'); reconstructed it verbatim by re-threading column A then column B per the source line order. Removed two bled-in running-head artifacts mid-sentence ('GENERAL CONFERENCE Friday, October 2' and 'First Day'). No authoritative CHL catalog record found distinct from the IA item; source_url retained as the verified IA scan.
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
