Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Proofread against the IA scan/OCR witness (conferencereport1970a); fixed title (the prior title was just the second line of a two-line speaker-heading caption, not the talk's opening words), removed bled-in running heads and a large block of trailing session-transition boilerplate, corrected calling/date/session.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: collated against the conferencereport1970a djvu OCR witness (leaves ~15885-16113ish, Sixth Session, Monday morning, April 6 1970, Solemn Assembly — concluding speaker, immediately following Spencer W. Kimball). Confirmed full speaker heading: 'President Harold B. Lee, First Counselor in the First Presidency and President of the Council of the Twelve.' Fixed the title: the prior draft used 'And President Of The Council Of The...' which is only the second line of that two-line caption, not the talk's actual opening words ('I echo the sentiments of my beloved colleague...'). Removed bled-in running-head/page-artifacts mid-paragraph ('GENERAL CONFERENCE Monday, April 6' twice; 'Third Day' three times — once mid-word splitting 'grandfather' into 'grandThird Day father', restored). Stripped a large block of trailing material that did not belong to this talk: the choir/benediction/adjournment notes, and the entire Seventh Session opening (session header, President Lee's introductory remarks, chorus/prayer notes, the Joseph Fielding Smith hymn-authorship anecdote, and introduction of the next speaker, Ezra Taft Benson). Talk now ends at Lee's own '...in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.' Date corrected to 1970-04-06 (Sixth Session, Monday morning); date_precision corrected to exact.
