Heavyweight pass: verified source as the Church History Library-contributed Internet Archive scan conferencereport1969a (139th Annual Conference, held Fri Apr 4 - Sun Apr 6, 1969). Rebuilt page reading order from the scan's DjVu XML word-coordinate data (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py) and cross-checked every talk boundary against the report's own exhaustive back-of-book index (leaf n160-165), which lists every address with its own page range and sub-topic headings. Unlike the heavily-fragmented 1966-1968 conferences, this conference's original ingest already had each vault file corresponding to a single complete or near-complete talk, with no merging required; the defects found this pass were running-head OCR bleed into a handful of body openings/mid-bodies (fixed) and several genuinely never-ingested addresses (flagged rather than fabricated). Confirmed session and exact date from the report's own dateline (Friday Apr 4 = First Day, Saturday Apr 5 = Second Day plus the Saturday-evening General Priesthood Meeting, Sunday Apr 6 = Third Day, which was Easter Sunday that year); corrected date_precision from month to exact and added the session field (both were previously unset). Added a page-anchored source_url (leaf n35 of conferencereport1969a) in place of the bare item link. This is Bishop Victor L. Brown of the Presiding Bishopric, distinct from President Hugh B. Brown's two addresses later in this conference.
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
