Reading order rebuilt from the item's DjVu OCR word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py). Never previously ingested into the vault; flagged missing by the 2026 heavyweight review of this conference (the flag cited printed page 133, which maps to DjVu leaf 135 in this scan's leaf-vs-printed-page offset). President Alvin R. Dyer's introduction identifies him as "Elder Bruce R. McConkie of the First Council of Seventy," following Elder Alma Sonne (already in the vault). The opening two-column layout (a short quotation paragraph beside the side-heading "The word and the power" starting a new paragraph) was de-interleaved by hand, since the DjVu text layer briefly merges both columns line-by-line at the top of this page before the automated reading-order reconstruction settles into single-column reading. Running heads, page numbers, and leaf markers removed; de-hyphenated line breaks and reflowed paragraphs; printed editorial side-heads preserved as Markdown headings without altering wording.
