Heavyweight pass: verified source as the Church History Library-contributed Internet Archive scan conferencereport1959a (129th Annual Conference, held Apr 4-6, 1959; IA metadata confirms CHL call no. M204.1 A1 1880, 1897-). Rebuilt page reading order from the scan's DjVu XML word-coordinate data (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py) to safely resolve talk boundaries against the report's own session headers (FIRST/SECOND/THIRD DAY, MORNING/AFTERNOON MEETING, GENERAL PRIESTHOOD MEETING) and speaker headers. Confirmed session and exact date from the report's own dateline (Saturday Apr 4 = First Day, Sunday Apr 5 = Second Day, Monday Apr 6 = Third Day; the Saturday-evening General Priesthood Meeting is also part of First Day); corrected date_precision from month to exact and added the session field (both were previously unset). Added a page-anchored source_url (leaf n110 of conferencereport1959a) in place of the bare item link. Corrected speaker attribution: the printed report's running head reads 'ELDER HUGH B. BROWN' (garbled by OCR to 'ELDER HUC' and bled into the auto-generated speaker field as the nonexistent name 'Huc'). Corrected speaker/speaker_id/title/id/filename to Hugh B. Brown. Body references 'the profound and scholarly opening address of President J. Reuben Clark, Jr., Saturday morning' (First Day Morning, leaf n5) -- that Clark talk was never ingested into the vault at all (see progress notes).
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
