Heavyweight pass: verified source as the Church History Library-contributed Internet Archive scan conferencereport1956sa (127th Semi-Annual Conference, held Oct 5-7, 1956; IA metadata confirms CHL call no. M204.1 A1 1880, 1897-). Rebuilt page reading order from the scan's DjVu XML word-coordinate data (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py) to safely resolve talk boundaries against the report's own session headers (FIRST/SECOND/THIRD DAY, MORNING/AFTERNOON MEETING, GENERAL PRIESTHOOD MEETING) and speaker headers. Confirmed session and exact date from the report's own dateline (Friday Oct 5 = First Day, Saturday Oct 6 = Second Day plus the Saturday-evening General Priesthood Meeting, Sunday Oct 7 = Third Day); corrected date_precision from month to exact and added the session field (both were previously unset). Added a page-anchored source_url (leaf n78 of conferencereport1956sa) in place of the bare item link. Verified against the reconstructed scan text: this is genuinely Mark E. Petersen's own Priesthood Meeting address on the Word of Wisdom and the 'Be Honest With Yourself' posters program, word for word. A prior lightweight-review flag on this conference's progress row suggesting this was actually President J. Reuben Clark Jr.'s address mislabeled under Petersen does not hold up against the scan and is corrected here. Note: President J. Reuben Clark Jr.'s own Priesthood Meeting address, immediately following (leaf n83-85), was never ingested into the vault at all (see progress notes).
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
