Official printed text of the One Hundred Twenty-third Semi-Annual (October) General Conference, held October 3, 4, and 5, 1952, as published in the Church Conference Report. Page images were consulted through the Church History Catalog record (Conference Report, October 1952; record c9a74cfb-3a9f-429a-806f-f7ec2ec5a70e) and the Church History Library preservation scan on the Internet Archive (conferencereport1952sa). Heavyweight review collated the text page-by-page against that scan; running heads, page numbers, and hyphenation artifacts were removed, including two running-head fragments ("BISHOP JOSEPH / L. WIRTHLIN 81" and "BISHOP JOSEP. / L. WIRTHLIN 83") that had bled into the body text. The light-review draft was truncated roughly two-thirds through the talk (cutting off mid-topic after the baptismal-prayer paragraph); the remaining ~500 words (through the D&C 84:33-34 and 107:99 citations and the closing "Amen") were restored verbatim from the scan. Corrected the calling to the printed "Presiding Bishop of the Church" and two stray OCR hyphens.
