Fidelity

◕Authoritative print

Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report of the One Hundred and Fourth Semi-Annual Conference (October 1933), hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1933sa). Reading order was reconstructed from the DjVu word coordinates with scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py, segmented using matched line bounds, then cleaned: running heads, page numbers, and line-break hyphenation removed; paragraphs reflowed. Not yet proofread line-by-line against the scan images (status: draft, pending review).

Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Proofread against the Internet Archive conferencereport1933sa scan/OCR; confirmed body text, date/session metadata already correct.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: verified source as the Internet Archive scan conferencereport1933sa (104th Semi-Annual Conference, held Fri Oct 6 - Sun Oct 8, 1933). Rebuilt page reading order from the scan's DjVu XML word-coordinate data (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py) and cross-checked every talk boundary, date, and session against the report's own back-of-book index and direct text location, confirming a clean one-to-one mapping for all 33 vault files with existing date/session/talk_order metadata already correct. Swept out a systemic running-head bleed pattern ('NN GENERAL CONFERENCE' / 'ELDER-or-PRESIDENT NAME NN') that had split sentences or sat between paragraphs in 30 of the 33 files, rejoining page-break mid-sentence splits and removing pure paragraph-boundary/trailing artifacts; also fixed one OCR name misread ('President Tvins' -> 'President Ivins'). Filled in the one remaining bare source_url. Confirmed no missing addresses this pass.

This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
