Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Heavyweight pass: collated against conferencereport1928a djvu OCR.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: this talk had been wrongly split across three ingestion-time files (1928-04-34, -35, -36); merged them back into one continuous address, collated word-for-word against the conferencereport1928a djvu OCR witness. Confirmed via the printed report's own index (page 106, falling after David O. McKay's page 102-105 address) that this is the Third Day Afternoon (Closing) Session, Easter Sunday, April 8, 1928, not the Second Day Morning Session as previously tagged; the talk itself explicitly says 'Since this is Easter day.' Corrected calling_at_time from the mistyped 'Senior President of the Firstt Council of Seventy' subhead and retitled from that subhead to the talk's opening words. Removed three bled-in running-head fragments left mid-text ('ELDER BRIGHAM H. ROBERTS' twice, 'GENERA L CONFERENCE' once) and a stray bullet/glyph artifact. Fixed OCR typos: 'Tt relates' -> 'It relates'; stray apostrophes in "St.' Thomas" -> 'St. Thomas' and "lost this'" -> 'lost this'; 'thv dear Son' -> 'thy dear Son'; 'this clay' -> 'this day' (in the closing prayer). Restored the word 'joy.' at the end of the 2 Nephi 2:25 quotation ('Adam fell that men might be; and men are that they might have joy.'); the djvu OCR itself cuts off after 'have' with no further text before the next paragraph, and this is one of the best-known, invariant verses in the Book of Mormon, quoted identically in innumerable other talks in this vault, so the omission is confidently attributable to an OCR/scan artifact rather than any variation in the source. Trimmed the trailing 'A duet, "The morning land"...' line, which is session-boundary material describing the musical number preceding Melvin J. Ballard's following address, not part of Roberts's talk. Confirmed boundary: begins after David O. McKay's address and ends with 'Amen.'
