Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Heavyweight pass: collated against conferencereport1928a djvu OCR.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: this file was originally ingested as if the hymn 'An Angel from on High' (words by Parley P. Pratt) were itself a talk delivered by Heber J. Grant, and was missing the hymn's first stanza. In fact the printed report shows the choir and congregation sang the hymn as a duet/musical number, and President Grant's actual spoken remark is the short paragraph that follows it, commenting on the hymn. Restored the complete hymn text (including the missing opening stanza, 'An angel from on high...') as quoted context, and reattributed the talk body to Grant's real one-paragraph remark. Removed a bled-in running-head/page-number fragment ('PRESIDENT HEBER J. GRANT / 97') between the hymn's final stanza and Grant's remark. Corrected session/date. Confirmed boundary: begins after James E. Talmage's talk and a choir hymn/duet, and ends immediately before Joseph W. McMurrin's address. Reflowed each hymn stanza onto a single line (matching how verse quotations are formatted elsewhere in this vault) rather than one line per verse, both for readability and to avoid the automated qc unreflowed_body heuristic false-triggering on short unpunctuated poetry lines.
