Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Heavyweight pass: collated against conferencereport1927sa djvu OCR.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: collated word-for-word against the conferencereport1927sa djvu OCR witness (Second Day Afternoon Meeting, Saturday, October 8, 1927); this is President Grant's closing address of the conference. Corrected date from approximate to exact. Removed a bled-in running-head/page-number fragment ('PRESIDENT HEBER J. GRANT 155') left mid-sentence. Reflowed the run-on OCR paragraph (subheads originally printed in small caps mid-paragraph, e.g. 'CLOSING THOUGHTS', 'BLESSINGS UPON THE PEOPLE') into proper paragraph breaks with subhead lines, matching the formatting convention used elsewhere in this vault. Fixed OCR typos: stray apostrophe in "beseech God to' give" -> 'beseech God to give'; 'we may be- representatives' -> 'we may be representatives'. Confirmed boundary: begins after George H. Romney's address and ends with 'Amen.', the close of the conference. This completes the heavyweight review of the entire 1927 October General Conference (57/57 talks).
