Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Heavyweight pass: collated against conferencereport1927sa djvu OCR.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: this was one continuous J. Golden Kimball address wrongly split at ingestion into two files (1927-10-25, -26); the second file's opening testimony directly continues the first file's closing sentence with only a page-turn running-head in between, no 'Amen.' or subhead. Merged them, retitled from the printed calling subhead to the talk's opening words, moving the calling into calling_at_time, and collated word-for-word against the conferencereport1927sa djvu OCR witness (Second Day Morning Meeting, Saturday, October 8, 1927). Corrected date from approximate to exact. Removed four bled-in running-head fragments ('ELDER J. GOLDEN KIMBALL' three times, and a page number '^54' / '55') left mid-sentence. Fixed OCR typos: 'middle o>f September' -> 'middle of September'; stray period in '"The . Glories of the Scriptures."' removed; 'cast O'f great actors' -> 'cast of great actors'; 'its effects 1 will be everlasting' -> 'its effects will be everlasting'; 'a stray apostrophe in 'doing otherwise'' removed; 'in lotve' -> 'in love'; 'quoted- those passages' -> 'quoted those passages'; 'fo<r elders' -> 'for elders'; 'the kingGENERAL CONFERENCE / dom of heaven' -> 'the kingdom of heaven' (running-head split mid-word); 'come straggling" in' -> 'came straggling in'; 'I 'looked those elders' -> 'I looked those elders'; 'I will tell i you a story' -> 'I will tell you a story'; 'sister jwanted me' -> 'sister wanted me'; "Uncle 'Golden, jl have been administered" -> "Uncle Golden, I have been administered"; 'frnd I blessed the doctor' -> 'and I blessed the doctor'; "5'oung men" -> 'young men'; 'EHas S. Kimball' -> 'Elias S. Kimball'; 'no1 fear of the hereafter' -> 'no fear of the hereafter'. Confirmed boundary: begins after George Albert Smith's address and ends with 'Amen.'
