Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Proofread against the scan/OCR witness (Internet Archive conferencereport1927a); merged in the mis-split continuation that had been filed separately as 1927-04-23 (both halves are one continuous George Albert Smith address with no talk boundary between them, just a page break inside a long quoted document); removed running-head bleed; fixed numerous OCR letter errors.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: authoritative source URL verified against conferencereport1927a djvu OCR and confirmed via the item's full-text search-inside API (opening words match at leaf n85) and cross-checked against the page_numbers.json leaf map (printed page 83 = leaf n85). Confirmed this and former 1927-04-23 (george-albert-smith-remarks-26) are one continuous George Albert Smith discourse split across a page boundary in the middle of a long quoted document (Patriarch John Smith's testimony); the running head at the split reads 'ELDER GEORGE ALBERT SMITH' both before and after with no 'Amen' or new speaker introduction between them. Merged the two into this file and deleted the duplicate. Removed three running-head bleed artifacts left mid-paragraph. Fixed numerous OCR letter errors (e.g. 'IS'51' -> '1851', 'Jotm Smith' -> 'John Smith', 'giye' -> 'give', 'Fie presides' -> 'He presides'). This talk and the two that follow (George F. Richards, merged into 1927-04-24) fall in the Second Day Morning Meeting (Monday, April 4, per the scan's 'SECOND DAY / MORNING MEETING' header before Rudger Clawson's address), not the 'First Day Afternoon Session' as previously labeled; corrected session and date accordingly for all three.
