O. B. Peterson · 1926 October General Conference · 1926-10-05
Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report published by the Deseret News and hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1926sa). Running heads, page numbers, and line-break hyphenation removed.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Proofread against the official/CHL/JSP source plus scan/OCR witness; corrected session (Concluding Session, Tuesday afternoon, October 5, 1926, not Second Day Morning) and date to exact, corrected calling_at_time, removed embedded running heads/page numbers that had bled into the body, fixed OCR typos, reflowed paragraphs.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: authoritative source URL verified (archive.org conferencereport1926sa, printed pp. 143-146); page-by-page collation against scan/OCR witness. Speaker identified from the OCR running head 'ELDER O. B. PETERSON / Former President of the Tahitian Mission', introduced by President Grant immediately after J. Wyley Sessions (1926-10-42) in the Concluding Session, Tuesday afternoon, October 5, 1926. Corrected session from 'Second Day Morning Session' (wrong) to 'Concluding Session' and date from approximate 1926-10-01 to exact 1926-10-05. Confirmed boundaries clean: begins immediately after Grant's introduction and ends cleanly at 'Amen.' before Grant's introduction of Mark V. Coombs (1926-10-44). Removed three embedded running-head/page-number artifacts ('GENERAL CONFERENCE' page 144, 'ELDER O.B. PETERSON' page 145, 'GENERAL CONFERENCE' page 149) that had bled mid-word/mid-sentence into the body, and fixed scattered OCR typos (e.g. 'wortder' to 'wonder', 'Avithout' to 'without', 'dicontented' to 'discontented'). No missing text; no OCR corruption requiring restoration.
