◕Authoritative print

Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report published by the Deseret News and hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1926sa). Running heads, page numbers, and line-break hyphenation removed. One digit in a printed year range ('1936 or 193&’') is illegible in the OCR/scan witness and has been left exactly as scanned rather than guessed; see heavyweight_review_notes.

Witnesses

No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.

Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Proofread against the official/CHL/JSP source plus scan/OCR witness; fixed numerous OCR misreads (e.g. "Jrepresentatives"->"representatives", "tfiem"->"them", "Vallad'olid"->"Valladolid", "Tasked"->"I asked", "ishV"->"ish", "T think"->"I think", "tlTis"->"this", "structure iri"->"structure in", "year's"->"years."), removed several stray mid-text running heads and one blank line, and cleaned up hyphenation/spacing artifacts. Left one illegible OCR digit in a year range verbatim rather than guessing, and set the exact session date (1926-10-03, per the source's own dateline) in place of the approximate first-of-month placeholder.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: source URL verified against archive.org conferencereport1926sa (print page 13-21, IA leaf n14 for the start of this talk, immediately after President Grant's plural-marriage statement and the running head 'PRESIDENT ANTHONY W. IVINS'); page-by-page collation against scan/OCR witness performed line by line, correcting the OCR misreads and artifacts listed in review_notes. One printed year in the pyramid-of-Gizeh passage ('1936 or 193&’') is genuinely illegible in the archive.org OCR/scan witness (not a simple hyphenation or spacing artifact); left verbatim as scanned per the never-reconstruct-from-memory rule rather than guessing the intended year. Boundary check: talk begins cleanly after Grant's plural-marriage statement and ends cleanly with 'Amen' before the session's closing hymn/benediction/adjournment, which are correctly excluded. No adjacent hymn/session-business bleed.
