Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: source_url (archive.org conferencereport1919a, n126) confirmed as correct IA item/era; printed page 125 opens with President Heber J. Grant's introduction of 'Elder Benjamin Goddard and his assistants in the Bureau of Information' followed by the running head 'ELDER BEN J. GODDARD (Of the Bureau of Information.)', matching this file's speaker exactly. Verified against the djvu OCR (conferencereport1919a_djvu.xml, leaf 126) that this is a complete, genuine short address with no boundary contamination -- the next running head on the same page is 'ELDER SAMUEL O. BENNION' (1919-06-76). Fixed numerous OCR letter errors ('perform " ing'->'performing', 'rre'->'me', 'fiftv'->'fifty', 'posessed'->'possessed', 'art laboring'->'are laboring', 'attentivelv'->'attentively', 'thre<r hundred'->'three hundred', 'eargerly'->'eagerly', 'breavement'->'bereavement', 'they*may'->'they may', 'delightea'->'delighted', 'Mormonis'->'Mormonism', 'God an 1 to'->'God and to', 'Goq'->'God', 'Chtfrch'->'Church', doubled/stray spacing and stray punctuation marks). Two short phrases remain genuinely undecipherable in the source OCR itself even after inference: 'repre- [[gap]] our faith' (leaf 126) is rendered here as 'represent our faith', which is the only sensible completion of the visible letters and matches the sentence's grammar, though a stray printer's mark obscures the exact original spacing/hyphenation; and 'who will listen, frequently, [[gap]] the testimonies that are borne' has an untranscribable OCR dropout of one or two words between 'frequently' and 'the testimonies' -- left as an ellipsis-free best reading of 'to the testimonies' since the surrounding grammar requires a preposition there and no plausible alternative reading changes the sentence's meaning; both are flagged here rather than silently invented. No independent re-fetch of the scan image was performed beyond confirming the IA item exists and pulling its djvu OCR text.
