Conference record · 1916 October General Conference · 1916-10-08
Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report published by the Deseret News and hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1916sa). Running heads, page numbers, and line-break hyphenation removed.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: this is the printed 'AUTHORITIES SUSTAINED' record listing every general and auxiliary officer sustained at the conference's Closing Session, not a discourse; the original ingest's bogus speaker 'Of The Church' was an OCR fragment of the record's own opening line. Reclassified as record_type: conference_record and dated/sessioned to the Closing Session per the systematic mislabeling found across this conference.
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
