Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: reconstructed true reading order from conferencereport1916sa's DjVu XML via scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py (source pre-verified: own title page confirms 'Eighty-Seventh Semi-Annual Conference ... October 6th, 7th and 8th, 1916'). Found this Opening Address had been wrongly split into four files at OCR-misread running heads/mid-sentence breaks: the former 1916-10-02 ('Hunter Used To Say Which Is'), 1916-10-03 ('George F. Richards. His Son' -- misread as a new speaker's name from a sentence naming Richards inside Smith's own missionary-release list), and 1916-10-06 ('Andrew P. Anderson.' -- another misread name from the same list) are all continuous with this file; merged all four into one and deleted the three redundant files (renumbering nothing else, since talk_order 4/5 had never been assigned to real files). Restored two entire missing paragraphs (Samoan Mission release of Elder John A. Nelson Jr., succeeded by Ernest Wright; Swedish Mission release of Elder Theodore Tobiason, succeeded by Andrew P. Anderson) that had been dropped entirely between the old files 3 and 6 -- this also explains the phantom 'Andrew P. Anderson' speaker credit, since Anderson is a name from the report's own text, not a speaker. Restored two short bridging phrases lost at the split seams ('Bishop Hunter used to say, which is'; 'Elder George F. Richards. His son, George F., Jr., also accompanying'). Confirmed the true talk boundary: opens 'It is with a grateful heart...' as the conference's Opening Address, closes 'Amen' before the following baritone solo (correctly excluded, a separate session-music item, not part of this file). Restored full printed title from the synopsis block. Fixed OCR letter errors throughout ('thatl'->'that I', 'tlje'->'the', 'hecomes'->'becomes', 'w,e'->'we', 'abroadi'->'abroad', a running-head bleed mid-word ('somePRESIDENT JO SEPH F. SMITH.' -> 'something'), stray carets/commas, 'forgeti'->'forget', ''' avoid'->'avoid', 'ini'->'in'). No wording invented; every restored sentence is the OCR's own text, just rejoined.
