Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: verified against conferencereport1916a OCR via reconstructed reading order (spot-checked the Junius F. Wells/'Forty-niner' anecdote and the Nauvoo reference, both matching verbatim); boundaries against Bentley's preceding talk and the following talk confirmed clean, ending 'Amen'. Fixed scattered OCR letter-errors (writen/written, ATauvoo/Nauvoo, oleasure/pleasure, zvorm/worm, tobocco/tobacco, and similar) and removed a mid-paragraph running-head artifact ('ELDER RUDGER CLAW SON.'). No missing/invented text.

Corrections

This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
