Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: this file was badly misattributed by the original ingest -- filename/speaker/title fields ('Young In His Day And Of ... President Taylor Following Him') were auto-generated from a mid-talk sentence fragment ('It was the ideal thought apparently of President Young in his day, and of President Taylor following him...'), and roughly the first third of the actual talk (from the printed synopsis through '...And now it has been') was missing entirely, dropped during ingest. Reconstructed true reading order from conferencereport1916a's DjVu XML via scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py, confirmed the running head throughout is PRESIDENT FRANCIS M. LYMAN, restored the missing opening verbatim, corrected speaker/id/title, and de-hyphenated/reflowed the restored portion. Also trimmed a trailing 'AUTHORITIES SUSTAINED' session-record block that had been wrongly appended after this talk's Amen -- moved to the conference_record file where its own missing opening line was restored (see 1916-04-08). No text invented; boundaries against the preceding Penrose talk and the following session record confirmed clean.
