Proofread against the source text.
Proofread against the OCR of conferencereport1915sa (leaves 69-72); removed roughly 60 lines of misplaced content that had been wrongly appended after this talk's true ending (a session-note plus the entirety of Francis M. Lyman's Second Day address, which is restored separately as its own file); removed a running-head fragment bled mid-sentence; reflowed the closing hymn as verse lines; fixed scattered OCR character errors including a heavily garbled dialect passage.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: source verified against conferencereport1915sa OCR. Reading order reconstructed with scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py; boundaries confirmed (final talk of the Second Meeting Out-of-Doors, First Day evening). MAJOR CONTAMINATION FOUND AND FIXED: the original ingest had appended the SECOND DAY session-note and the entire text of Francis M. Lyman's Second Day Morning address onto the end of this file, after M'Kay's own closing hymn credit -- content that belongs to a wholly different session a day later and a different speaker. Trimmed the file back to M'Kay's true ending (the closing-prayer credit); Lyman's talk is fully and correctly preserved in its own restored file (1915-10-32b-francis-m-lyman-remarks-32b.md). Also removed one running-head bleed ("ELDER DAVID 0. McKAY.") mid-sentence, reflowed the closing hymn ("I'll Go Where You Want Me to Go") into verse lines instead of run-on paragraphs, and fixed a heavily OCR-corrupted passage of Scots dialect speech (preserved the dialect spelling itself -- wi', nicht, thegither, canna -- only correcting genuine character-substitution errors like "olac€" -> "place").
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
