B. H. Roberts · 1915 April General Conference · 1915-04-06
Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report published by the Deseret News and hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1915a). Running heads, page numbers, and line-break hyphenation removed.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Proofread against the official Deseret News Conference Report OCR/scan witness (conferencereport1915a, internal file prefix conferencereport851chur); merged a wrongly-split, misattributed second file back into this one, removed running-head bleed, corrected date/session.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: found that this single continuous Brigham H. Roberts address had been split into two files, and the second half misattributed. The original ingest mis-parsed a sentence within Roberts's own narrative -- "Elder Amasa M. Lyman and Charles C. Rich, the latter a newly ordained apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, were sent to the Pacific Coast..." (Roberts naming two historical 1849-era missionaries) -- as a speaker-change header, producing a bogus 'speaker: Amasa M. Lyman And' file (talk_order 37, id/title also garbled letter-by-letter from an OCR line: '-C-H-A-R-L-E-S- - -C-.- - -R-I-C-H-,- - -T-H-E- - -L-A-T-T-E-R- - -A- - -N-E-W-L-Y-'). Confirmed via word-coordinate reading-order reconstruction of the DjVu OCR that no running head for any 'Amasa M. Lyman' actually appears anywhere in the source; the entire text is one uninterrupted Roberts speech. Merged talk_order 37 back into this file and deleted it. Source URL/page anchor (n127) verified; boundary confirmed against preceding Seymour B. Young address and following J. Golden Kimball address, both in the Third Day Closing Session; date/session corrected from 1915-04-05/'Second Day Morning Session' to the true 1915-04-06/'Third Day Closing Session'; removed an 'ELDER BRIGHAM H. ROBERTS.' running-head fragment bled into the body text.
