J. Golden Kimball · 1914 October General Conference · 1914-10-06
Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report published by the Deseret News and hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1914sa). Running heads, page numbers, and line-break hyphenation removed.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: verified against IA scan/OCR (conferencereport1914sa leaves 113-116); confirmed talk opens the Closing Session (2 p.m.) -- corrected date/session from Second Day Morning. Supplied title from the talk's subject. Talk was cut off mid-sentence after 'Now, my brethren and sisters,'; its conclusion had been ingested as a separate file with a garbled, unidentified speaker (1914-10-39-unknown-testimony-abiding-faith-in-joseph-smith.md) -- merged that content back in and deleted the duplicate, restoring the missing bridging sentences verbatim from the scan. Removed a mid-body running-head bleed. 0 QC ERRORs.
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
