Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Heavyweight pass restored this talk from fragmentary to complete: the previous draft cut off mid-sentence ("...in hearty atune with the suggestion of") after only two paragraphs, flagged for future restoration. Recovered the entire rest of the talk from the OCR, which had survived intact but was misfiled under a separate id/title/speaker generated from OCR mojibake (a letter-by-letter spaced garble of the fragment "SAINTS THINK MORE ABOUT THE GOSPEL," formerly 1913-10-42, speaker listed as "Smith That The Latter-Day"), now merged into this file. Corrected session/date from "Second Day Morning Session"/1913-10-05 to "Third Day Morning Session"/1913-10-06 (this talk follows George Albert Smith's talk, see 1913-10-40, which opens the Third Day). Split out President Joseph F. Smith's brief interjection immediately following this talk's close into its own file (see 1913-10-42-joseph-f-smith-remarks-42, reusing the talk_order slot vacated by this merge). Fixed OCR errors ("adressed"->"addressed", "atune"->"in tune" / "attune", "anv"->"any", "o^"->"of", "faming"->"famine", "betzvecn tit'o"->"between two", "adressed"->"addressed", "indiELDER ANTHONY W. IVINS.-viduals"->"individuals", "statement"->"statements", "underminded"->"undermined", "sanitaion"->"sanitation").

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: verified against archive.org/details/conferencereport1913sa leaves 104-108 (page/n104 through page/n107), page-by-page collation against the scan/OCR witness under the "ELDER DAVID O. McKAY." running head (also OCR'd as "DAVID 0. M'KAY"). Confirmed boundary: opens with its own byline and printed synopsis immediately after George Albert Smith's talk (see 1913-10-40), and closes with "...God help us all to know the truth and to have strength to live it, is my prayer, and I ask it in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen." immediately before President Joseph F. Smith's brief interjection (see 1913-10-42), which is followed by a vocal solo and then Anthony W. Ivins's talk (see 1913-10-43).
