Heavyweight pass corrected session/date from "First Day Morning Session"/1913-10-04 to "Second Day Morning Session (Overflow Meeting)"/1913-10-05: this talk was given at the overflow meeting in the Assembly Hall (see 1913-10-conference-record-session-notes-14), immediately after Rey L. Pratt's talk, whom Horsley explicitly references ("We have been told this morning, by Elder Pratt..."). Removed a stray OCR-garbled running head ("ELD.HR ARTHUR W. HORSLEY.").
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: verified against archive.org/details/conferencereport1913sa leaves 51-52 (page/n51 through page/n52), page-by-page collation against the scan/OCR witness. Confirmed boundary: opens with its own byline "ELDER ARTHUR W. HORSLEY. (Of Carbon Stake.)" immediately after the vocal solo "O Divine Redeemer" sung by Sister Ida Morris (session material, excluded), and closes with "...I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen." immediately before the anthem "The Lord of Heaven" and Rudger Clawson's talk (see 1913-10-18).
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
