Heavyweight pass fixed the id/title, which had been generated from OCR mojibake (letter-by-letter spaced garble of a fragment, "-A-F-T-E-R- - -L-I-S-T-E-N-I-N-G-..."), and the session/date (corrected from "First Day Morning Session"/1913-10-04 to "Second Day Morning Session"/1913-10-05: this talk follows Francis M. Lyman's talk and the "The Pioneer" solo in the Second Day session). Removed a stray running-head bleed mid-body (a "ELDER LEVI EDGAR YOUNG." running head printed one page early, on the page before Young's talk actually begins — confirmed by content: the surrounding paragraphs are continuous with Hart's own talk, not Young's). De-hyphenated, reflowed paragraphs.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: verified against archive.org/details/conferencereport1913sa leaves 41-45 (page/n40 through page/n44), page-by-page collation against the scan/OCR witness under the "ELDER CHARLES H. HART." running head. Confirmed boundary: opens directly after "The Pioneer" (a soprano solo sung by Sister Edna Anderson, session music, correctly excluded) and closes with "...I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen." immediately before Levi Edgar Young's talk begins under its own "ELDER LEVI EDGAR YOUNG. (Of the First Council of Seventy.)" byline (see 1913-10-13). The running head reading "ELDER LEVI EDGAR YOUNG." atop leaf 44 (printed page 43), while this talk's text continues underneath it, is a page-proof artifact (the running head was evidently set for the page break based on where the NEXT talk begins) and does not indicate a boundary here; it has been removed as running-head material rather than treated as a mid-talk speaker change.
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
