Heavyweight pass: this brief impromptu address by President Joseph F. Smith, supplementing Hyrum M. Smith's remarks on marriage and reading two telegrams received during the conference, did not exist as its own file in the prior ingest. Created from the dedicated conferencereport1913a scan via XY-cut reading-order extraction. De-hyphenated and reflowed.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: verified against archive.org/details/conferencereport1913a leaves 118-119 (page/n118, running head 'PRESIDENT JOSEPH F. SMITH.'). Confirmed boundaries: begins immediately after Hyrum M. Smith's address with 'If it may not be considered intrusion, I would like to supplement, in a few words, the remarks that have just been made...'; reads telegrams from Reed Smoot (Washington, D.C.) and John W. Young (New York), both dated April 5, 1913; ends with the note that the tenor solo 'Be thou faithful unto death' was rendered by Prof. Elihu Call, immediately before Patriarch Hyrum G. Smith's address. Carefully disentangled from a leaf where the DjVu reading-order reconstruction interleaves the tail end of Hyrum G. Smith's own address (beginning 'in the earth in this day...') onto the same leaf; that material belongs to Hyrum G. Smith's talk, not this one, and is excluded here.
