Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: verified against IA scan/OCR (conferencereport1912sa leaves 43-49); confirmed the talk opens the Second Day Afternoon Session (Oct 5, after Smith's brief remarks, adjournment, and the session's own opening hymns/prayer) -- corrected date/session from First Day Morning. Trimmed title to the first clause of the printed synopsis heading (which covers the whole address, including its closing Mexico-refugee appeal); corrected calling_at_time from generic 'General Authority' to 'President of the Council of the Twelve Apostles'; removed trailing period from speaker. Fixed a mid-word running-head bleed ('...matters perPRESIDENT FRANCIS M. LYMAN. 43 taming to...' -> 'pertaining to'). MAJOR CORRECTION: this file had been wrongly cut off mid-sentence ('...to pioneer the country- I went with'), and the separate file 1912-10-13-lyman-the-mormon-colonies-in-mexico.md -- previously heavyweight-stamped as a second, distinct Lyman address -- is actually the direct continuation of this same talk, picking up mid-sentence one clause later. The original ingest had mistaken a run of letter-spaced/emphasized print ('PRESIDENT TAYLOR, PRESIDENT JOSEPH F. SMITH AND OTHERS OF THE BRE-') for a new talk heading and split the address there, dropping the connecting clause ('I went with President Taylor, President Joseph F. Smith and others of the brethren;') entirely. Restored that clause verbatim from the scan and merged file 13's content back into this file as its continuation; file 13 is being deleted as a duplicate/artifact rather than a real talk. Confirmed the merged talk is complete and closing 'Amen' intact. 0 QC ERRORs.
