Heavyweight pass: verified against archive.org/details/conferencereport1912a (internal scan conferencereport821chur), leaves 83-89 (page/n83, running head 'ELDER MELVIN J. BALLARD.'). Confirmed boundaries: begins immediately after Elder Joseph E. Robinson's address and the hymn 'Come, Come, Ye Saints,' with '(President of Northwestern States Mission.) While listening to the remarks of our beloved President in the opening of this Conference...'; discusses missionary experience, tithing, fast offerings, and the need of the world for 'Mormonism'; ends '...as God intended we should, even to aid in the salvation of the souls of men. May the Lord help us in this grand and noble labor, I ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.', followed by the hymn 'Lo, the Mighty God Appearing,' benediction by Elder M. M. Steele, and the Second Overflow Meeting's opening (Assembly Hall, 2 p.m., presided by Elder Heber J. Grant) -- immediately before Elder German E. Ellsworth's address. A stray page-number/noise fragment ('SG') and a stray 'ELDER GERMAN E. ELLSWORTH.' running head interrupt the body mid-sentence at leaf transitions -- page-proof artifacts, excluded, confirmed by extending the range each time until the sentence completed. De-hyphenated, reflowed, corrected scattered OCR errors, and removed the printed synopsis/hymn-quotation lead-in per docs/review.md.
