Session notes: announcement, closing hymn, and benediction

Conference record · 1911 October General Conference · 1911-10-08

Fidelity

○Fragmentary

Session housekeeping notes (President Joseph F. Smith's announcement of the afternoon overflow and outdoor meetings, a closing hymn, benediction, and adjournment) immediately following Elder Anthony W. Ivins's address (talk_order 21) and preceding the Overflow Meeting opening record (talk_order 23). Never ingested into the vault at all in the original ingest -- a genuine gap identified during an audit of this conference's talk_order sequence. Added during a subsequent ingest pass.

Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Reconstructed reading order from the conferencereport1911sa DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py); confirmed this content (leaf n74-75) closes the Third Day Morning Session, between Ivins's talk (ending 'Amen' on leaf n74) and the Overflow Meeting's opening record (already ingested as 1911-10-conference-record-session-notes-23.md, leaf n75).

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: filled a genuine talk_order gap (22) discovered while auditing this conference's sequence for completeness -- talk_order 2, 20, 37, and 42 were already accounted for as merged into their preceding talks per the existing heavyweight report, but 22 had no corresponding file at all. Verified against the reconstructed scan that this is purely session housekeeping (announcement of the afternoon overflow/outdoor meetings, closing hymn, benediction by Elder Junius F. Wells, adjournment to 2 p.m.), matching the record_type: conference_record convention already used elsewhere in this conference for such content; no discourse content is missing here.
