Heavyweight pass: corrected date (1911-10-07 -> 1911-10-08) and session (was labeled Second Day Morning Session; this is part of the Third Day Afternoon Outdoor Meeting, immediately after Shepherd's talk 40), corrected the placeholder title and trailing period on the speaker name, and restored this talk's true ending, which the original ingest had cut off mid-sentence and misfiled as a separate talk misattributed to a nonexistent speaker "Mose." (talk_order 42, an OCR misread of the running head 'ELDER MOSE[S] W. TAYLOR').
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: reconstructed reading order from the conferencereport1911sa DjVu XML and confirmed the source_url leaf (n114), which opens directly after Shepherd's Amen with 'ELDER MOSES W. TAYLOR. (President of Summit Stake.)'. Body collated word-for-word against the OCR. Discovered the prior ingest had split this single talk into two files at a page break mid-sentence ('...the Chinaman waiter came and said' / '"A little more wattee?"...'), with the second half misattributed to a phantom speaker 'Mose.' (talk_order 42, from a garbled two-column read of the running head). Merged that continuation back in here and removed the phantom talk. Confirmed boundaries clean: begins with Taylor's own remarks and ends at his own Amen, before the hymn/benediction that opens the Closing Session.
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
