Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Heavyweight pass: corrected truncated title and generic calling_at_time; confirmed source_url leaf and fixed OCR letter errors outside the scrambled section. ONE large multi-paragraph passage remains genuinely scrambled by a two-column page-layout OCR defect too extensive to safely de-interleave without risking word substitution; partially decoded into two candidate threads and flagged for a verified follow-up pass rather than guessed.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: reconstructed true reading order from the conferencereport1911sa DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py) and confirmed the source_url leaf (n57) is correct. Rewrote the truncated title and replaced the generic calling_at_time. Fixed roughly a dozen OCR letter errors outside the scrambled section (kernels quote marks, Thy -> They, producingholy -> producing holy, things* -> things, stnall -> small, a bracket-for-I OCR error, Latter-dav -> Latter-day, mv -> my, way' -> way, praved -> prayed, everv' -> every, fa<=t -> steadfast, Thev -> They, puritv -> purity). KNOWN UNRESOLVED DEFECT: a large multi-paragraph passage (roughly the third through sixth paragraphs of the talk, beginning 'not mean that we are not to mingle...' and resuming at 'I have never met a member of the Church who would not express himself...') is a severe two-column-layout OCR scramble confirmed against the DjVu word coordinates, interleaving two distinct threads of the talk word-chunk by word-chunk. A preliminary manual decoding was attempted (see spawned follow-up task) but was not applied here without verification against the actual scan coordinates, per the no-reconstruction-without-confidence policy. Also restored the closing session material (hymn, benediction by Elder Lewis Anderson, adjournment note) which had been missing here and was instead misused to auto-generate the id/title/speaker of the next file (1911-10-18), which is actually the Third Day session record; see that file's notes. Confirmed remaining boundaries clean: begins with McKay's own remarks (quoting Wordsworth on Milton), ends at his own Amen plus the closing session material.
