Heavyweight pass: corrected truncated title, trailing period on speaker name, and generic calling_at_time; anchored source_url leaf, removed a running-head bleed, and fixed most OCR letter errors. One short passage remains genuinely scrambled by a two-column page-layout OCR defect that could not be safely de-interleaved without risking word substitution; flagged rather than guessed.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: reconstructed true reading order from the conferencereport1911sa DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py) and corrected the source_url leaf from an initial guess of n22 to the confirmed n21. Rewrote the truncated title, removed the stray trailing period on the speaker name, and replaced the generic calling_at_time. Removed a mid-sentence running-head bleed ('ELDER REED SMOOT.'). Fixed several OCR letter errors (testimonv -> testimony [x2], bishon's -> bishop's, thiry -> thirty). KNOWN UNRESOLVED DEFECT: the paragraph beginning 'It would be almost a waste of time to appeal to the peo-pie for donations...' through '...and the Prophet Joseph Smith was the worst of the lot' is a genuine two-column-layout OCR scramble in the source scan (verified against the DjVu word coordinates -- the reading-order algorithm interleaved two side-by-side newspaper-style columns word-by-word). Unlike the single-sentence reorderings fixed elsewhere in this project, this is a multi-paragraph, ambiguous scramble (the exact word completing 'na-' at one column break could not be determined with confidence) and was left as ingested rather than risk fabricating content; flagging for a follow-up pass with access to the actual page image. Confirmed remaining boundaries clean: begins with Grant's own remarks, ends at his own Amen plus a trailing session note about a telegram reading.
