Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Heavyweight pass: merged in the second half of this talk, which had been wrongly filed as a separate talk (1911-10-02); reconstructed the title from a badly OCR-garbled page (a genuine scan defect, not an ingest error); fixed trailing period on speaker name and generic calling_at_time; anchored source_url leaf.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: reconstructed true reading order from the conferencereport1911sa DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py) and corrected the source_url leaf from an initial guess of n3 to the confirmed n2. Merged in the second half of this talk from 1911-10-02-jo-remarks-2.md (now deleted), which had been wrongly split off as a separate file mid-word ('of Jo-' / 'seph Smith'); that file's id/title/speaker had been auto-generated from an unreadable running-head fragment. Reconstructed the title from a badly OCR-garbled printed page ('Vilification of the Saints and their leaders a strange phenomenc/n. -- The wojddnot injured by our beOVTICE LJotAHT / The Church of Jesus Christ of LaMei-day Salrrh lief...') -- this garbling is a genuine defect in the scan itself (confirmed against the DjVu image text layer), not an artifact of ingest; the words are unambiguous from context ('phenomenon,' 'world not injured by our belief') and the full original subtitle is preserved here for the record: 'Vilification of the Saints and their leaders a strange phenomenon. -- The world not injured by our belief. -- Only Gospel truths taught by the Prophet Joseph Smith. -- The doctrines divine, the hatred unjustifiable. -- Personal denial of wrong doing. -- Eternal relationship of parents and children. -- Distant colonization objectionable. -- Peace, goodwill, and industry enjoined. -- Satan's rage increased, and his power diminished, when Saints are faithful.' The fragments 'OVTICE LJotAHT' and 'LaMei-day Salrrh' are unreadable running-head bleed-through and were dropped rather than guessed. Fixed the generic calling_at_time (President of the Church) and the stray trailing period on the speaker name. Also removed two mid-sentence running-head bleeds encountered in the merged-in half ('GENERAL CONEEREN CE.' and 'PRESIDENT ANT HON H. LUND.', both OCR misreads of page headers unrelated to this talk) and fixed roughly a dozen minor OCR letter errors while merging (jthe -> the, cretures -> creatures, latterday -> latter-day, undented -> undefiled, and several stray spacing/apostrophe artifacts). Confirmed boundaries clean: begins with Smith's own opening address, ends at his own Amen plus a trailing musical note.
