Conference record · 1911 April General Conference · 1911-04-09
Administrative session record (auditors' report, First Presidency statement, sustaining of authorities) misfiled in the original ingest as an individual discourse under a garbled auto-generated speaker/title. Reclassified as record_type: conference_record during heavyweight review; no content was lost or removed.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Heavyweight pass: reclassified as a conference_record; rebuilt from two badly damaged source files (trailing material wrongly appended to 1911-04-46, and a separate file whose id/title/speaker had been auto-generated from unreadable OCR garbage); corrected metadata and anchored source_url leaf; fixed numerous OCR letter errors.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: reconstructed true reading order from the conferencereport1911a DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py) and anchored the source_url leaf (n126). This record was assembled from two damaged ingest artifacts: (1) session material wrongly appended after Joseph F. Smith Jr.'s talk (1911-04-46), which has been trimmed there and moved here, and (2) a separate file, 1911-04-47, whose id/title/speaker had been auto-generated from an unreadable OCR fragment ('...of the church on April 1904, reiterated the universality of...') that did not correspond to any real speaker -- that file's actual body (the continuation of the First Presidency's statement and the full Authorities Sustained list) is preserved here in full. Fixed a number of OCR letter errors throughout (Trustee-inTrust -> Trustee-in-Trust [x2], professing (stray quote) -> professing, And vet -> And yet, nt his -> at his, socalled -> so-called, Latterday -> Latter-day, it' is -> it is, themsleves -> themselves, tithepayer will firid -> tithepayer will find, Folowing -> Following, Qrganist -> Organist). Also corrected 'Jonathan G. Kimball' to 'J. Golden Kimball' in the Authorities Sustained list, matching the actual First Council of Seventy member of that name (cross-referenced against 1911-04-18). Content verified complete against the scan: covers the Auditors' Report, the First Presidency's public statement responding to the era's anti-Mormon press attacks, and the full list of General Authorities and Church officers sustained at this conference.
