Anthon H. Lund · 1911 April General Conference · 1911-04-06
Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report published by the Deseret News and hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1911a). Running heads, page numbers, and line-break hyphenation removed.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Heavyweight pass: corrected speaker/id/title metadata (this entire file was misattributed to Joseph F. Smith; it is Anthon H. Lund's address) and anchored source_url leaf; OCR letter errors fixed and a mid-paragraph running-head bleed removed.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: this file (originally 1911-04-02-joseph-f-smith-remarks-2.md) had two defects. First, a genuine conference notice ('For the convenience of conference...') belonging to the trailing session record of the preceding Smith opening address had been duplicated here as well as left truncated in that file; the duplicate was removed from this file and the complete notice restored in 1911-04-01-joseph-f-smith-remarks-1.md instead. Second, and more seriously, this entire file's speaker/id/title metadata was wrong -- the body text is Anthon H. Lund's address (confirmed by the repeated 'PRESIDENT ANTHON H. LUND.' running heads throughout the source), not a Joseph F. Smith remark; renamed and re-attributed accordingly, from 1911-04-02-joseph-f-smith-remarks-2.md to this file. Reconstructed true reading order from the conferencereport1911a DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py) to anchor source_url to leaf 10 and confirm boundaries. Removed a mid-paragraph running-head bleed ('PRESIDENT ANTHON H. LUND.' interrupting 'Need we ask to have it made any stronger?') and a trailing page-number bleed ('PRESIDENT ANTHON H. LUND. 13' interrupting the divorce paragraph). Fixed several OCR letter errors (commandment, but -> commandment, but; and' -> and; Presiident's -> President's; primeminister -> prime-minister; twentyone -> twenty-one; Latterday -> Latter-day). Confirmed boundaries clean: begins with Lund's own remarks, ends at his own Amen.
