◕Authoritative print

Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report of the Eighty-First Semi-Annual Conference (October 6, 7, and 9, 1910), published by the Deseret News and hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1910sa; DjVu file conferencereport811chur). Reading order was reconstructed from the DjVu word coordinates with scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py, segmented with scripts/ingest/cr-segment-legacy.py, then cleaned: running heads, page numbers, and line-break hyphenation removed; paragraphs reflowed; obvious OCR errors partially corrected. The printed report supplies an editorial topic-summary for each discourse, preserved at the top of the body when present; the title is supplied from that summary. Not yet proofread line-by-line against the page images (status: draft, pending review). source_archived_url points to the Internet Archive item itself.

Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation. Boundary correction 2026-07: this file previously ran on past the true close of Roberts's address (through the intervening soprano-solo session note) into the full bodies of Elder Joseph F. Smith, Jr.'s and Elder Anthony W. Ivins's addresses, which the prior heavyweight pass wrongly certified as clean. Collated against conferencereport1910sa/conferencereport811chur leaves n37-n38: Roberts's address ends at '...the like of which is not equalled in all the philosophies and other religious systems of the world.' The trailing soprano-solo note (a session artifact, not discourse) and Smith Jr.'s and Ivins's talks were split out; Smith Jr.'s address is now its own file (Ivins's was already correctly filed separately as 1910-10-anthony-w-ivins-professed-teachers-of-god-s-word-must-proclaim-tru.md).

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: collated against the IA djvu OCR (conferencereport1910sa); confirmed talk boundaries, full body text, and closing 'Amen' intact with no truncation, running-head bleeds, or merged talks. This ingestion batch intentionally preserves the printed editorial topic-summary line at the top of each discourse body (per this file's own fidelity_notes), so those lines were left in place rather than removed as leaked fragments, consistent with earlier established convention for other batches where they were NOT deliberately kept. Confirmed date/session/talk_order correct. 0 QC ERRORs. [Superseded 2026-07: this confirmation was wrong — the file in fact ran two other speakers' full addresses on past Roberts's close; see review_notes for the correction. heavyweight_reviewed_by is a legacy field per AGENTS.md and is left here only as a record of the prior (mistaken) pass.]
