One phrase, 'was I).1 est of him,' was garbled beyond direct letter-substitution repair; restored to 'was blessed of him' based on the parallel canonized text in Doctrine and Covenants 84:12 ('Esaias also lived in the days of Abraham, and was blessed of him'), which Clawson is directly paraphrasing at this point in the address -- flagging for the editors verification against the page image rather than treating as a certain fix. Confirmed boundaries clean: begins with the genuine session-opening record (call to order, hymn), which belongs with this talk; ends at Clawson's own Amen.
