◕Authoritative print

Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report of the Seventy-Eighth Semi-Annual Conference (October 1907), hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1907sa). OCR corrected by hand (running heads and line-break hyphenation removed, paragraphing restored, obvious OCR errors corrected). Not yet proofread line-by-line against page images. Grade reflects the officially published Conference Report.

Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Heavyweight pass: removed a page-number bleed and printed synopsis line; corrected fidelity_notes conference ordinal; OCR letter errors fixed.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: reconstructed true reading order from the conferencereport1907sa DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py). Removed a stray page-number bleed and the printed synopsis line. Corrected fidelity_notes conference ordinal (Seventy-Seventh -> Seventy-Eighth). Fixed roughly 20 OCR letter errors and stray punctuation throughout. Editorial flag: verified a racial slur in the anecdote about the traveling medicine man (leaves 57-58 of the DjVu XML) against a fresh re-fetch of the scan OCR -- it is genuinely printed in the original 1907 Conference Report, not an OCR misread or ingestion artifact, and has been preserved verbatim per the vault's no-paraphrase/no-modernization policy; flagging rather than silently altering historical primary-source text. Confirmed boundaries clean: begins with the session-opening record, ends at Smoot own Amen followed by the genuine trailing session note (Summerhays/Pratt duet). source_url already correctly anchored to leaf 56.
