Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Heavyweight pass: restored the missing conference-opening session record; corrected fidelity_notes conference ordinal (was Seventy-Seventh, should be Seventy-Eighth per the printed masthead); removed printed synopsis line; extensive OCR letter-error cleanup.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: reconstructed true reading order from the conferencereport1907sa DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py). This is talk_order 1, the very first item of the conference, and its genuine session-opening record (call to order, authorities-present roster, two opening hymns, opening prayer) had never been ingested at all; restored it verbatim from the scan (leaf 1) at the head of this file. Removed the printed synopsis line and the redundant 'OPENING ADDRESS.' subheading. Fixed roughly a dozen OCR letter errors (opening- -> opening, Coun cil -> Council, blessing's -> blessings, arc -> are, vain.I -> vain. I, good( ?) -> good(?), and stray spacing/punctuation). Confirmed boundaries clean: begins with the session opening, ends at Smith own Amen with no trailing bleed.
