John R. Winder · 1907 April General Conference · 1907-04-06
Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report of the Seventy-Seventh Annual Conference (April 1907), hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1907a). OCR corrected by hand (running heads and line-break hyphenation removed, paragraphing restored, obvious OCR errors corrected). Not yet proofread line-by-line against page images. Grade reflects the officially published Conference Report.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Heavyweight pass: proofread against the conferencereport1907a DjVu XML reading-order reconstruction; removed printed synopsis line; OCR letter errors fixed.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: reconstructed true reading order from the conferencereport1907a DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py). Confirmed this is the sole talk of the Second Day Morning Session opening, with the session's genuine opening record (call to order, hymn, prayer) kept inline. Removed the printed synopsis line per the vault's synopsis-bleed convention. Fixed OCR letter errors ('uoon'->'upon', 'the- priesthood'->'the priesthood'). Confirmed boundaries: begins with the session opening, ends at Winder's own 'Amen.' with no trailing bleed. source_url already correctly anchored to leaf 27.
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
