Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Heavyweight pass: proofread against the conferencereport1907a DjVu XML reading-order reconstruction; removed printed synopsis line; OCR letter errors fixed.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: reconstructed true reading order from the conferencereport1907a DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py). Confirmed boundaries: begins with Smoot's own greeting, ends at his 'Amen.' followed by the genuine trailing session note (William D. Phillips's solo). Removed the printed synopsis line per the vault's synopsis-bleed convention. Fixed OCR letter errors ('clay and dispensation'->'day and dispensation', 'lareer'->'larger', 'arti cle'->'article', a garbled clause 'never mere needed...r«.'i5e its ideals'->'never more needed...raise its ideals', 'learr.'->'learn', 'the dav'->'the day', 'Latter-dav'->'Latter-day', 'sueeestion'->'suggestion', 'w;lful'->'wilful', 'attemoted'->'attempted'). Confirmed the long Dickens quotation and the 'Weekday Religion' newspaper quotation are transcribed accurately against the OCR. source_url already correctly anchored to leaf 28.
