Joseph F. Smith · 1907 April General Conference · 1907-04-07
Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report of the Seventy-Seventh Annual Conference (April 1907), hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1907a). Collated against the DjVu XML reading-order reconstruction.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Heavyweight pass: split the full text of the Address to the World (plus trailing print-shop advertisement matter) out of the end of this file; anchored source_url to page; OCR letter errors fixed.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: reconstructed true reading order from the conferencereport1907a DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py). Split the full appendix text of the Address to the World, which had been wrongly appended after Smith's own closing prayer and the conference colophon, into new file 1907-04-conference-record-address-to-the-world.md; trailing print-shop advertisement matter after that document's signature line was not part of the Church's text and was dropped rather than preserved as a record. Fixed OCR letter errors in Smith's own remarks (a stray quotation mark before 'bless you' -> comma, withi i -> within, prosnerous -> prosperous, mv -> my, amon«you -> among you, footsteps*of -> footsteps of, Mas ter -> Master, vallevs -> valleys, a running-head bleed 'F RESIDENT' removed, a stray period before 'upon them' removed). Kept the trailing genuine conference colophon (choir/organ credit, stenographers) attached as the close of this file. Confirmed boundaries clean: begins with Smith's own closing remarks, ends at the colophon.
