B. H. Roberts · 1907 April General Conference · 1907-04-06
Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report of the Seventy-Seventh Annual Conference (April 1907), hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1907a). Running heads and line-break hyphenation removed; collated page-by-page against the DjVu XML reading-order reconstruction.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Newly ingested: split out of 1907-04-wells-memorable-conference.md, which had wrongly appended this separate address under Wells's file.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: this is a newly-created file, not a redo of an existing one. Split out of the end of 1907-04-wells-memorable-conference.md, where this Roberts address had been wrongly appended after Wells's own closing 'Amen.' (running head 'EIDER BRIGHAM H. ROBERTS.', OCR misread of 'ELDER'). Confirmed via the reconstructed reading order from the conferencereport1907a DjVu XML word coordinates (scripts/ingest/cr-reading-order.py) that the text is transcribed accurately. Fixed OCR letter errors ('it -becomes'->'it becomes', 'interpretations _ which'->'interpretations which', 'to oe judged'->'to be judged', 'logfcal deductions'->'logical deductions', 'oth ers'->'others', 'kino-dom'->'kingdom', 'Macaula^'->'Macaulay', 'cet a statement'->'get a statement'). Kept the trailing genuine session note (Delia Daynes's solo) as the close of this file. talk_order set to 13 (matching Wells's preceding talk) rather than renumbering the rest of the day; talk_order is a display/sort aid only and not QC-validated. source_url anchored to leaf 44, the same page Wells's talk begins on (this address follows directly on the same page span). No independent re-fetch of the scan image was performed beyond confirming the IA item exists and pulling its djvu OCR/XML.
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
