George Teasdale · 1902 October General Conference · 1902-10-06
Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report of the Seventy-Third Semi-Annual Conference (October 1902), hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1902sa). OCR corrected by hand (running heads and line-break hyphenation removed, paragraphing restored, obvious OCR errors corrected). Not yet proofread line-by-line against page images. Grade reflects the officially published Conference Report.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: collated against the djvu OCR of conferencereport1902sa. Found the body was truncated mid-sentence at 'enlightened'; restored the missing closing three paragraphs verbatim from the scan, through the real 'Amen' close, fixing several high-confidence OCR misreads along the way (ani->and, n^w->new, privil ege->privilege, thenoutgoings->their outgoings, everlastirg->everlasting, fellowsnip->fellowship). The restored text had been misfiled in its entirety as 1902-10-taylor-gospel-testimony.md (a running-head artifact caused the ingest to misattribute it to the wrong speaker) -- flagged that file separately with a heavyweight_review_blocker rather than deleting it. Set source_url page anchor via IA search-inside.
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
