Fidelity

◕Authoritative print

Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report of the Seventy-Third Semi-Annual Conference (October 1902), hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1902sa). OCR corrected by hand (running heads and line-break hyphenation removed, paragraphing restored, obvious OCR errors corrected). Not yet proofread line-by-line against page images. Grade reflects the officially published Conference Report.

Witnesses

No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.

Collation history

Proofread against the source text.

Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation.

Collated word-by-word against the original scan.

Heavyweight pass: collated against the djvu OCR of conferencereport1902sa; set source_url page anchor via IA search-inside. Found that Elder James E. Talmage's entire following talk had been merged into the end of this file with no boundary marker beyond an inline byline ('ELDER JAMES E. TALMAGE.'); split it out into its own new file, talks/english/conference-reports/1902/1902-10-talmage-development-and-the-word-of-wisdom.md, since none existed for it. This file now ends at Cummings' own genuine close ('...you will succeed'), which is not followed by 'Amen' (a Sunday School Union address, not a sermon prayer-close). Content matches the OCR witness verbatim.
