Anthon H. Lund · 1902 April General Conference · 1902-04-06
Transcribed from the OCR of the official printed Conference Report of the Seventy-Second Annual Conference (April 4-6, 1902), hosted at the Internet Archive (conferencereport1902a). OCR corrected by hand (running heads and line-break hyphenation removed, paragraphing restored, obvious OCR errors corrected). Not yet proofread line-by-line against page images. Grade reflects the officially published Conference Report.
No witness list recorded beyond the primary source.
Proofread against the source text.
Light review: in-context proofread, synopsis/session-artifact cleanup, and spacing fixes. NOT a full page-by-page scan collation.
Collated word-by-word against the original scan.
Heavyweight pass: collated against the djvu OCR of conferencereport1902a (source_url page anchor confirmed). Removed a stray topic-list byline fragment from the body start. Found the body was truncated mid-sentence at 'Sidney Rigdon did not'; restored the missing closing four paragraphs verbatim from the scan, through the real 'Amen' close, fixing two OCR misreads (Tou->You, wffl->will). The restored text had been misfiled at the start of 1902-04-winder-importance-of-temple-work.md (a running-head artifact caused the ingest to misattribute it) -- that file has been corrected separately to keep only Winder's own genuine talk.
This is a living critical edition. If you find a transcription, metadata, or sourcing error in this talk, report it to the editors →Reports are collated against the page scan and land as corrections in the vault.
